I'm not saying that getting laid is the agenda at every political event. But when everybody's drunk on America, there's a good chance to engage salaciously with legislators or the fit security staff.
Jamie Frevele, 12.31.2008
For me, a WTF moment can be either good or bad, but has to be in some sense a little bit unbelievable, as in "You can't write this stuff." So behold -- my first annual list of WTF moments.
Timothy Cooper, 12.31.2008
With the election of 2008 demonstrating how far this country has progressed with issues such as sexism and racism, it should be interesting to see if America will respond any differently to a Commander-in-chief of color.
David Sirota, 12.24.2008
In the name of transparency, Rachel Maddow went back and clarified that a bailout-justifying guest of hers actually had a blatant conflict of interest.
Bob Cesca, 07.31.2008
McCain couldn't possibly be an elitist and out of touch with most Americans because it doesn't fit the media narrative. He's just not.
Marcia G. Yerman, 07.03.2008
Scarborough epitomized every boorish, condescending male that ever tried to diminish a woman... whether it be a family member, a co-worker, or a presidential candidate.
Charles Warner, 09.10.2008
It looks like MSNBC caved into McCain's complaints, which will anger liberals. David Gregory? FOX news didn't get to be the number-one cable news network by being dull and balanced.
Andy Borowitz, 11.10.2008
Just minutes after "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough dropped an F-bomb live on the air, MSNBC announced that it was re-launching the show to capitalize on its star's salty vocabulary.
Bob Cesca, 12.10.2008
We've seen this before: specious attempts to connect Obama with corrupt or controversial figures in Chicago. This is what we can expect for the next four years. The crazy has only just begun.
Bob Cesca, 12.17.2008
A physical assault on President Bush failed to knock the Obama taint meme out of the cable news roundelay of hackery. They're visibly reacting -- knee-jerking and overcompensating, really, to eight years of chronic narcolepsy.
Jackson Williams, 06.28.2008
If we don't like the Second Amendment, then we should agitate to get rid of it in the methods the Founders prescribed. But we might want to think twice.
Chez Pazienza, 05.30.2008
What makes Jessica Yellin's "clarification" about her coverage of the run-up to the Iraq war so much fun is that you can almost see the gun being pointed at her head by CNN management as you read her words.
Frank Sharry, 11.25.2008
In Newsweek, Karl Rove argued that Republicans must support a policy that "strengthens citizenship, grows our economy and keeps America a welcoming nation."
Steve Parker, 12.20.2008
This "agreement" is just another part of the recent "Bush/Cheney Revisionist History Farewell Tour." It was created to fail, just as long as that failure didn't happen while Bush was still president.
Marcia G. Yerman, 12.25.2008
It's hard not to wonder why we look at other countries' connections to religion as fanatical or misplaced theocracy, but don't see any aspects of it in our own culture.

Brzezinski recognized Joe's insecurities and stated as much when Joe attempted to conceal his embarrassment. Had it not been so obvious that he wasn't in the same league as Dr. B, Joe probably would've exhibited his "usual" behavior (loud and obnoxious, not allowing his guest to squeeze in another word). When he's not hosting, guests have a better chance to express themselves. His comprehension of what's written and/or what's stated is also questionable.
Brzezinski is one arrogant, rude anti-Semite. His daughter, Ms. Butt-In-Ski is equally rude. They both should be banned from the show. The good Dr. B is a paltry hold-over from the pathetic Carter administration... he needs to go back to his cave and stay there... and take his goofy daughter with him.
Though I know facts won't get in the way of this hatefest against the one news program that allows dissent without insults, Dr Z's insult against Scarborough may have been fun to watch but he is dead wrong. Scarborough's position is shared by none other than Bill Clinton, who also blamed Arafat for the collapse of these negotiations. So to did the New York Times, the BBC and every other news outlet. Brzezinski only has allies on this point in the Arafat apologists lobby. Like or hate him, but Scarborough was right on his point that Arafat blew up the Camp David peace process in 2000. If Scarborough is superficial, so to is Clinton and the entire US foreign policy community who agrees with Clinton (and Scarborough).
